Category Manager
Drive business metrics for the category in a sustainable manner
- Lead Merchandising and Marketing for the Category and ensure optimal representation on the platform
- Plan and execute the marketing/event calendar while working with Marketing teams and Central Planning teams to maximize traffic for the category
- Understand the selection available on the platform and fill the gaps through the buying team
- Drive specific initiatives and projects for Category growth
- Drive Business
- Co-own the business metrics, refine the business model, understand where opportunities are and create a viable business to service them
- Stay on top of trends in an ever-changing landscape, find opportunities and prioritize based on impact, internal capabilities, etc.
- Understand on-line and off-line players. Ensure company's experience, selection and customer proposition stays well ahead of competition
- Convert plans into action in order to achieve monthly and annual targets defined for the category
