Job Description

 Provide technical & functional leadership to Pre-sales & Post-Sales Design team
 Prepare & evaluate pre-bid preliminary and post-bid detailed engineering Design documents for solar Rooftop & Ground mounted projects
 Prepare & evaluate detailed BOQ of required components including Modules, Inverters, Structures, Junction Boxes, protections, Cables, AC Panels etc.
 Provide guidance for preparation of all Design Engineering documents, including Array Layout, Equipment Layout, Cable Layout, SLD etc.
 Provide inputs on Costing of required components
 Designing & Planning of Low Voltage & High Voltage Electrical systems, including Transformers & Switchgear
 Evaluate and qualify new technologies in the Solar field
 Identify and evaluate new vendors for major components in Solar supply chain
 Analyze solar RFPs/tenders/bids and prepare detailed responses
 Familiarity with generation estimates like PVSYST, Helioscope, Sketchup etc.
 Knowledge of relevant regulatory policies & Standards required in Solar PV Design
 Coordinate with customers, throughout the duration of the project

Requirements

EDUCATION: Master’s degree (Minimum) from premier state/national university, in
Electrical/Electronics Engg.
EXPERIENCE: Total 15 -20 year’s work experience, with 10-12 years’ experience in solar Design &
engineering
INDUSTRY: Substantial solar industry experience critical
