Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Ensuring Legal support for land acquisition initiatives of wind projects, ensuring right land parcels are acquired and get the title approval of land.
2. Legal Due Diligence of the land parcels being acquired.
3. Litigation Handling – Handle all litigations apart from regulatory ones, identifying and appointing relevant lawyers, providing necessary documentation support, coordinating internally, vetting the pleadings, monitoring the case status, representing the company in the court of law when required and dealing with law enforcement agencies.
4. Represent the company before the lenders council with respect to any query resolution aimed at securing timely disbursement.
5. Document Management – Create repository of all original land documents and being the SPOC for any documentation requirement by internal teams.

Requirements
Profile & Eligible Criteria-
Candidate should be well versed with Kannada language (write and read).
1. Education: LLB (LLM Will be an added advantage)
2. Understanding of laws both civil as well as criminal along with strong understanding of various land laws
3. Ability to read and comprehend local laws
4. Open to travel
5. Ability to convince
6. Ability to understand and work with different cultures
7. Collaborative and influencing skills
8. Attention to Detail
9. Ability to work under pressure
10. Networking skills.

Renewable/Power industry is a mandate.
Candidate should have working exposure of karnataka.
