Role- Architect API/Cloud Integration

Job Description

• For incoming demands creates, evaluates and documents solution options considering business requirements, Enterprise Architecture (EA) and Solution Architecture standards and relevant parts of the Technical Stack
• Defines the technical IS solution from integrations perspective, including API definitions, and ensures alignment with other modules and surrounding IS applications through cooperation and collaboration across IS solution architects and IS delivery units.
• Supports integration development and application maintenance teams (AMS) with in-depth knowledge of the integration platform and supporting tooling capabilities, in order to tailor solutions design, build and deployment functionality accordingly, and to ensure the best match of the desired functionality to available capabilities; drives effective and efficient use of platform and tooling capabilities
• Stays up to date with the best practices and latest developments in the areas of API, Cloud and application integrations as well as within the existing IS applications and platforms ecosystems and is responsible for alignment with EA team to ensure that corresponding platform/service technical capabilities are kept up-to-date to address business demands, and are in line with EA and Integration Platforms roadmap
• Maintains solution and platform architecture standards, guidelines, policies and ensures proactive communication of those to relevant groups within IS community, including Integration Platforms team, and in concert with EA and service leadership ensures those are considered and followed
• Drives and leads automation of platform and service-related activities from architecture perspective
• Contributes to IS Problem and IS Incident Management to reduce tickets volume by detecting re-occurring defects and eliminating these; proactively supports issue resolution during project delivery and supports resolution of critical and/or complex operational incidents

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher Degree in information systems, electrical or mechanical engineering
• A minimum 5 years of experience in application / cloud integration areas, out of which at least 3 years of experience of designing enterprise-grade integration solutions based on Mule technology
• Experiences working with Microsoft BizTalk, Azure Service Bus, Azure Logic apps or SAP PI technologies is an advantage
• Hands-on experience with RAML, REST APIs, MuleSoft API Management and Anypoint Platform
• Working knowledge of git, Maven, Azure DevOps, Postman, CI/CD pipelines
• Architectural approach combined with business-oriented mindset, with good articulation, facilitation and consensus building skills
• High sense of responsibility and commitment
• Fluency in spoken and written English
