Job Description:

Designation                  : Data Lead

Reporting to                  : Software Manager

Location                       : Bangalore, Full Time

Qualification                  : Graduation in Computer Science. Master’s degree will be added advantage Experience : 12 - 14 Years of experience in the relevant field

 Key Responsibilities / Functions:

Translate functional and non-functional requirements into effective designs and development specifications
Responsible for transforming Data into - > Information -> Knowledge - > Business Decisions
Delivers extensive data warehouse, data mart, multi-dimensional cube, business intelligence and analytics solutions
Assists in designing, building and improving the DataOps practice
Responsible for identifying trends and patterns in data leading to increased effectiveness of digital programs
Responsible for streamlining dataflow pipelines across various programs and products
Responsible for Data related documentation and visual communications
Provide guidance to other delivery and operations team members
Architect, design, develop and support Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) stack solutions and Azure MSBI Services

 Required Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)

12 -14 years of experience in the relevant field
Proficient with MS BI stack including Analysis Services, SQL Integration Services, SQL Reporting Services
Need to possess project management skills – Manging tasks/tracking milestones
Experience in Jira/Project management tools desirable
Meet functional / non-functional business
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes,
Experience with Data Modeling tools and techniques
Experience/Knowledge of DB Administration activities
Experience in writing complex, highly-optimized SQL queries across large data
Azure MSBI Architect/Develop Experience (Azure SQL DB, ADLS, Azure DW, Integration Runtime, Analysis Services), SSIS,SSRS
Experience of developing and maintaining distributed systems built with Azure Databricks or native Apache Spark
Experience in Python/Scala is desirable
Data warehouse, Mart, OLAP/Cube, Tabular Model/Cube design experience using Kimball Method best practices
Experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle and Cosmos DB
Experience implementing Database Management Systems for custom developed and purchased business applications
