Job Description
Title : Head – Digital Platforms Development (.Net and Java)
Department: Global IT
Location: Gurgaon
Primary Responsibilities :
Manage development and support of our digital platforms. We have several digital initiatives underway in addition to following existing ones:
.Net based Lab Management application with a C#, Web.API, EF backend, AngularJS front end. Hosted on Azure with Azure SQL DB.
Customer Portal (SAP Hybris on SAP cloud) enable online ordering for customers.
Transactional hub - to digitalize transactions with our customers & vendors.
Enforce technical architecture
Create new functionality and optimize existing code base.
Implement Agile best practices and work to improve our IT processes.
Enable our business processes with sound technical solutions.
Analyze existing legacy applications due for refactoring/replacement.
Project, Program & Service Delivery Management.
Be a thought leader for technological solutions.
Manage Development team in India, work closely with EMEA and USA teams and product owners.
Build and maintain strategic relationship with key technology partners, sourcing providers to ensure swift ramp up of team as and when required.
Foster a high-performance team by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, coaching, counseling and disciplining.
Effectively delegate and focus team and resources on business priorities.
Recognizes problems by identifying abnormalities; reporting violations.
Ensure that all technology resources are productive and aligned to the business vision.

Requirements
Education : BE / B.Tech / MCA
Experience & Skills :
12+ years of experience in designing, developing, and testing modern applications
Thorough understanding of web application architecture.
Proficient with SQL (MSSQL2016), tracing, optimizing and troubleshooting.
Working knowledge of our tech stack: .Net Core, Web.API, Entity Framework, and Unity. C# restful service implementations and Typescript, AngularJS and Angular 2+ for front end development. MSTest, Moq, Jasmine and Karma for testing.
Expertise in modern coding patterns and practices, DevOps tools: Confluence, Jira, Git/Bitbucket
Strong analytical skills, experience solving practical issues and engaging teams of multiple process partners to consensus.
Strong Knowledge on IT Industry standards and best practices to develop organizational capability (people, processes, technology, knowledge) and process improvement models.
Hands on experience with complex project management.
Problem solving, troubleshooting & diagnosis skills for technical issues.
Good communications skills, with customers, team and stakeholders.
Entitled (Passport and Visa) and willingness to travel ~20%.
