Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Managing the client reporting product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities required to meet the business demand
Maintain constant touch with business stakeholders to ensure their existing demand is met and keep a tap on the upcoming demand
Act as a product champion/subject matter expert for the client reporting product having knowledge of reporting and data needs for existing & upcoming client reporting work
Drive innovation in the Client Reporting stream -- lookout for industry patterns and have the ability to sense what’s coming up in the near future.
Prepare, maintain, and evangelize the product roadmap which defines product enhancements for releases based on business priority
Create feature descriptions to provide guidance to Business Analysts and contribute and approve the product-related Business Requirements Documents
Bring synergies across various business analysts working on the product and ensure any opportunity of developing common solutions minimising duplication across regions/channels
Collaborate with product architect and technology product owner to define technology(data) & product (feature) roadmap
Act as a liaison between various technology teams (within the product and data providers/consumers) and business teams(sales, client services & operations) to keep everyone informed on the demands/priorities based on product roadmap
Capture & clarification of business requirements through a range of analysis techniques for the organization`s Business (data flow diagrams, case tool analysis, gap analysis and work & process flow diagrams)
Obtaining agreement on business analysis deliverables and ensuring that they meet all the requirements of the institutional business and tracking these across multiple systems groups
Working with business leads to identify, define, and clarify the scope / issues in terms of complex business/systems requirements.
Subject matter expert in Pension Domain. Should act as a bridge between the UK/Asia business groups and India Development teams
Driving user acceptance criteria with the customer
Drive communications around product releases, organising trainings and publishing user manuals, training videos required to educate the business
Work pro-actively with existing consumers of the product and identify potential consumers by demonstrating the key product features & roadmap
Well aware of the AGILE terminologies and should have knowledge of AGILE tools like JIRA, Confluence etc.
Manage or mentor team of BAs and help build Analysis capabilities across multiple line of businesses supported by product
Serve as mentor/coach to more junior business analysts on assigned program or within the broader Solution Delivery organization
Requirements
Experience and Qualifications Required
About 10+ years of total experience with most of it in Financial Services and Reporting
B. Tech / B.E. or MBA (Finance) preferred
Exposure to structured software development life-cycle methodology (preferably Agile or Iterative development) & Production Support processes
Experience of working with multi-cultural teams in a geographically diverse environment
A good understanding of the overall investment process and data needs of investment firms
Knowledge of fund accounting, asset classes, fund performance, attribution & risk measures is desirable
Must possess working knowledge of reporting & database technologies
Hands-on knowledge of PL/SQL for data querying & analysis
Exposure to business intelligence, analytics & modelling tools
Nice to have skills include
o Experience of working with 3rd party market data providers like Bloomberg, Reuters etc.
o Experience of working in cloud & CRM platforms

Additional Information
This is for an opportunity in the Client Technologies team which is responsible for designing & building reporting solutions for Institutional, Wholesale & DC pension clients across UK, Continental Europe & Asia.
The team is currently working on a multiyear programme on Client Reporting to strengthen the client reporting done for the aforementioned geographies and support various teams in organization engaged in areas around client reporting, client servicing, RFP, marketing etc.
Product Manager is a key role within the team whose primary responsibility will be to establish & maintain relations with key product owners & stakeholders from various business channels and keep product pipeline alive as per business priorities.
