Job Description
- Develop and execute production plans to ensure timely execution of supplies
• Finalize RM/ PM procurement plans to ensure availability of RM/PM
• Define and control stock levels (within the policy parameters) to achieve desired service level and inventory
norms
• Identify opportunities and develop plans for continuous improvement in service level (OTIF), lead time,
manufacturing costs, quality and reliability of supply chain
• Train employees in the cell and ensure implementation of Health, Safety and environment policies.
• Ensure team working and work culture of excellence & high performance which responds to the market
demands. Champion Industrial relations for the cell and always maintain harmonious working relations with
union employees.
• Ensure excellent Housekeeping, 5S in the Cell at all times
• Implement quality assurance procedures including ISO 9001 / ISO 14001/ OHSAS 18001 to achievedesired
quality standards in product and services consistently
• Ensure Shop floor practices are compliant with statutory and Group Standards requirements
• Lead lean activities in the cell
• Make sure that all equipment is maintained regularly for safe and continuous operation
• Plan for Capex, prepare capacity roadmap well in advance so that supply capacity does not becomea
constraint
• Analyze any internal / external rejections/ CCARs thoroughly by using 5 why/ 8D
• Create culture of IMS in the cell so that it becomes a way of life for the team
• Look actively for aggressive purchase savings for RM/ PM
• Manage the operations of outsourced activities
Requirements
- Location - Pune
- 10 - 15 years of experience in Chemical / Process/ Manufacturing industry of which at least 4 years as
head of manufacturing operation
Education - B.Tech/B.E (Chemical/Mechanical)
