Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Effective communication.
• Accountability and responsibility for leading the sourcing activities relating to the take on, ongoing and any subsequent exit
management of suppliers.
• Undertaking operational role in regard to supplier and contract management, Including: facilitating the setup and engaging in /
providing oversight of supplier governance arrangements; managing contractual processes & formal contract changes;
ongoing periodic supplier benchmarking & financial/risk assessment reviews.
• Fulfilment of day to day purchase requirements pertaining to Hardware / Software’s, communication, professional services
(Tech and Non Tech), subscriptions and technology manpower augmentation.
• Work closely with Legal and tax teams for contract documentation, closure and contractual changes in line with Indian / global
regulatory and tax requirements.
• Ensuring accurate and up to date of contracts and supplier records are maintained, and commercially sensitive information
managed in line with Fidelity’s information security standards.
• Keeping internal stakeholders informed of commercial activities and progress through collaborative working and pro-active
communication. Establishing an engagement process & maintaining awareness with/alerting stakeholders of potential future
commercial activity.
• Keeping abreast of potential new supply arrangements, latest products/services from a sourcing perspective.
• Playing a key role in looking for cost optimisation measures to get value for money without hampering the delivery and quality.
• Preparation of regular management reporting, Dashboards and metrics.
• Liaise with customers, business units, stake holders and build good working relationships with them.

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications Required
• B.Com / BA degree + MBA in finance and Business administration.
• Proven 4-7 years’ Strategic Sourcing experience.
• Formal education in field of finance and business administration
• Experience of managing cross organisational/multi-cultural project teams.
• Experience in resolving supplier disputes – via either formal or informal means.
• Experience in supporting global procurement
• Awareness & knowledge of Fidelity’s key technologies and systems.
• Experience in working with IT and ITES organisation in procurement function which includes areas of technology and non-tech
sourcing including hardware, telecoms, software, development, market information services, consultancy, building
management services, transport/travel, HR services, professional services and managed outsourced services.
• Good negotiation skills, team working skills, and ability to work and operate across teams.
• Ability to multi task and prioritise workload with a strong attention to detail.
• Customer focused.
• Knowledge of relevant applicable taxes while raising the order or closing of Agreements.
• Awareness & knowledge of commercial related activities like customs regulations, import of material etc,.
