Job Description
POSITION: Software Engineer Sr II– Web Application Testing
Eligibility Criteria:
Years of Experience:3-6 years
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Primary Responsibilities:
Involve in requirement analysis, test design, test case execution and defect management
Involve in design & architectural discussions with developers
Validating Company's standard web UI applications
E2E testing of Web applications
Creating/updating web UI testing framework
Automating test cases for web UI testing & API testing
Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements
Work cross-functionally with other Organization teams: product management, business units, and software engineering teams to drive forward results
Plans, coordinates and executes testing activities within small to medium-sized projects
Helps in user management for various SW applications
Helps manage master data with administrative tools for various SW applications
Requirements
Mandatory Skills:
Experience in testing of web Applications. Preferably .net applications
Hands on experience in SQL
Experience in API testing for Mobile and Web application interfaces
Exposure to API testing tools like Postman/JMeter
Experience in Functional Testing, Performance testing, Responsiveness (UI experience, alignment, validation) and Load testing
Experience in testing automation tools and ability to generate test cases
Experience in defect tracking, logging and reporting
Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills
Desirable Skills:
Exposure to Jira
