Application & Automation Manager – Data Science

Is involved in wafer fabrication equipment manufacturing that allows chipmakers to build smaller, faster, and better performing electronic devices. It is a multi-disciplinary company that includes mechanical, electrical, software and chemical process engineers who work together to create new products.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Passionate for technology implementation and hands-on skillset in software development Life cycle and writing code.
• Lead Application Development, automation, and analytics projects and team. Hands-On Experience in Software Engineering, Applications Automation, and BI, Advanced Analytics.
• Plan, Design, Architect, Develop and Deploy Software solutions for different stakeholders in global operations and across LAM Business functions.
• Hands-on Work on projects on Web, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework, Azure Cloud, Database Development to automate business processes, integrate with 3rd party tools, workflow and build required Web Products to accomplish business goals, and organization’s objective. Build Web Services and Restful Services to integrate with other AI & ML Solutions
• Hands-on Work on projects with Low-code or no code environment like Power Apps, QuickBase.
• Deliver Rapid Prototypes, Experiments, Hypothesis Testing, and Adhoc-Analysis to support the business with data-driven decision making.
• Provide technical leadership to COE Team members on application development. Perform Code Review, Design Review.
• Work with Global and local IT and Cross-functional business teams. Support business needs of functional managers
• Deliver Adhoc requests for information from established data sources, such as NO SQL, SAP HANA, SAP ECC, SQL Server, databases, QuickBase, RPA applications & 3PL Portals
• Develop application and automation architecture roadmap for center of excellence.
• Support the development and implementation of best-known methods concerning data analytics
• Responsible for integration of Web applications with analytical & business applications, AI applications
• Responsible for Business Process Automation and Digital Transformation Projects and custom application development.
• Must have led an application development and BI team building corporate level architecture for Supply Chain or Manufacturing Operations
• Responsible for implementing Agile Methodologies, User Stories and adoption of Agile Culture in the team
• BI team building architecture for tracking daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly reporting of metrics
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities with internal clients.

Mandatory Skills required to perform the job:
• Experience in building customer applications in Low code are no code like Power Apps & MS Power Platforms. Strong Azure Platform Experience is mandatory
• Prior Experience of Managing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Web Application development expertise with .NET, ASP.NET MVC, Java, HTML, C#, jQuery, Cloud Computing (Azure, AWS), Angular JS, node.js, Web and Restful APIs.
• Experience in strong application development with C#, jQuery, ASP.NET MVC, Angular JS, node.js, Java, Restful Web Services. Good understanding of HTML 5.0, CSS 3.0, and JS. Great UI Skills
• Adept at process assessments and understands applications of RPA in different business domains, Strong understanding of RPA concepts and market. Process assessment experience for end-to-end process automation including RPA proof of concepts. Hands-On Expertise in at least one of market leading RPA platforms such as Automation Anywhere, UI Path and deep knowledge in architecture concepts
• Hands on experience in Databases and analytics like Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, ETL, SQL Programming and experience in BI & analytical tools and platform like SAP HANA/SQL Server & Visualization Tools like Power BI/Qlik Sense

Desirable Skill:
• Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Business Applications like Kinaxis, Supply Chain Guru, Inventory Optimization, SPM, SAP ECC, SAP S/4, Microsoft Dynamics
• Deep Experience in Cloud Computing, Big Data, Hadoop, Industry 4,0. Knowledge of Enterprise Applications Architecture
