Job Description
The candidate will be able to provide presales support to our customers and sales organization on technical positioning of products based on customer test needs for UE, RF and ORAN.
The candidate will be responsible to provide technology trainings, customer application support like troubleshooting, testing on customer DUT, interpreting results, optimization of test scenario, reduction of test times right from edge to core.
The candidate should be a strong team player and connect to various internal organizations like R&D, factory support for customer technical resolution. The candidate should be committed to drive technical issues towards logical conclusion.
The candidate will be responsible to present papers with confidence and pride in company seminars and various domestic and international forums.
Requirements
• Thorough understanding of cellular technologies like LTE, 5G NR
• Understanding of L1 operations between UE and enodeB, iRAT, Handovers, MIMO, CA and test methods of validating UE performance at L1.
• Excellent understanding of 5G FR1 and FR2 RF and protocol (L1 to L3) measurements, including chamber-based OTA calibration and measurements.
• Detail understanding of O-RAN, gNB and UE RF and protocol measurements.
• Understanding of 3GPP Release 15 and 16 features, RAN4 and RAN5 test cases, its interpretation and test cases applicable for gNB and UE.
• Working knowledge of C-V2X and IoT technologies is desired.
• Understanding of channel emulation, massive MIMO, beamforming, carrier aggregation and EN-DC/NR-DC is required.
• Hands on experience on instruments including VXT, UXM 5G, Propsim, SG, SA, Signal Studio, and VSA is required.
• Good understating of L1 operations for connectivity technologies like 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ah/ad WLAN, 802.15 Bluetooth/BT LE and GPS along with their test methods is added advantage.
• Detail understanding of DVT, PRT and CTS 5G test cases and test solutions is required.
• Working knowledge of scripting and test automation is needed.
