Job Description

Key Responsibilities
• Preparation & review of regulatory returns which are submitted to UK Regulators (say HMRC, FCA, etc.).
• Review periodic balance sheet reconciliations and transfer pricing arrangements.
• Responsible for maintaining up to date procedure documentation.
• Communicating with senior stakeholders (including within Tax, Management Accounting and Business Finance
teams) in performing analytical reviews in order to understand expense/ revenue trends.
• Maintain a high level of risk awareness and develop a sound control environment to enable risk mitigation.
• P&L analysis, asset reporting, explanation of monthly and quarterly variances etc.
• Work closely with the global financial control teams across UK, Europe, Asia and India.
• Dealing with ad-hoc queries from stakeholders and finance community. This will include assisting with handling
internal or external reporting and other financial analysis.
• Work on key initiatives based on business requirements. Identify, design and implement process improvement
initiatives for increased efficiency.
• Assistance in designing and maintaining management and audit committee decks.
• Assisting in business plans and strategies which are aligned with the organisational as well as CFO goals.
• Relationship building and stakeholder management across geographies.

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications Required
Technical
• Qualified Accountant with 8-10 years post qualification experience with Accounting / Audit / Assurance background.
• Experience of handling regulatory reporting would be an added advantage.
• Strong Microsoft Excel alongside good IT skills particularly Outlook, Word & PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of HFM, CFP and JDE would be an advantage.
Essential Skills
• Strong analytical skills, experience of financial control & regulatory returns would be an advantage.
• Shows attention to detail, intellectual curiosity and an appetite to investigate and resolve issues when they arise.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to complete multiple tasks against tight deadlines, able to prioritise and organise effectively.
• Ability to embrace change and adapt quickly.
• Experience of working in an extended (offshore-onshore) global team model would be preferred
