Automation QA

A US Based product organization in Pune .

Looking for a seasoned QA Automation/Testing Expert who is good at Open-Source Tools, API Automation / Testing, Performance, Web Application Testing, End to End Test Automation. Candidate should be able to design the automation frameworks and guide the team in adoption of the framework and ensure adoption by strict reviews.

They should be a go getter, ready to take up any task assigned and deliver proactively with high quality consistently meeting the deadlines. The job involves leading the QA activities, interacting with the stakeholders and have a deep understanding of the business and the customer use cases. Exposure to AWS, Virtualization, DevOps will be good to have. They are expected to be hands on and up to date with the latest technology stack. The Job
• Own, guide and deliver the Functional & Test Automation Charter for the team.
• Very good hold on QA principles & testing methodologies.
• Should have strong experience in Designing & Creating the Automation Frameworks. Lead the automation team and get the frameworks adopted and review the team deliverables on adherence to these frameworks.
• Strong hands-on experience in Angular/Java Script based application testing, , Web Service / API Testing / Automation, Web Automation using Playwright or similar JS/TS based other tools.
• Experience with Performance Testing of APIs.
• Produce documentation for improved test strategy and procedures to implement improved test processes. This includes functional, regression, performance, security, and other methodologies, and guides QA in making improved test plans
• Test scenario designing, test case writing, and test case review. Should have good knowledge in manual testing with deep understanding of the product and the use cases

Required Qualifications & Skills
• UG - B.Tech/B.E. OR PG – M.S. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
• 4 - 6 years’ experience in QA
• Solid understanding and prior use of automated testing practices and software is required
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse and distributed product teams in an agile environment

Must have:
• Hands on experienced in manual and automation testing
• Full stack application ( Angular/JS based), Java based Backend API, AWS
• Well versed with software engineering concepts from QA perspective and different phases/types involved
• Web browser based debugging and troubleshooting
• Hands on with automation using Typescript/Java script/Python and tools like Playwright

Good to have:
• Experience is developing software products
• Focus on attention to details and exposure to testing application from UX perspective
• Discuss use cases with software developer and architect to get more clarity and raise bugs when needed
• Help software developers and QA lead to ensure clean code is signed off for staging and production deployment
• Worked in Agile methodology and familiar with scrum culture
