Job Description

As an Advisory Support Engineer, you will be part of the team that supports the market leading Shipping and Warehouse Management Solution targeting the medium and enterprise sized customer base. You will be working closely with highly enthusiastic team and provide the required support for applications and other groups. The candidate is expected to take new challenges and work independently.


Qualifications & Skills required
• M. Tech, B. Tech, B.E., BCA, MCA,
• Experience with monitoring tools configuration, design, implementation and establishing Standard Operating procedures as needed
• Demonstrated experience working with SQL database and should be able to write queries
• Experience in troubleshooting for web-based applications. Strong code debugging skills.
• Working knowledge of Infrastructure, Application Servers, Databases, Network & Reporting Tools
• Experience handling Incident Management & Change Management
• Ability to resolve issues and incidents, doing a deep-dive and end to end analysis of the incident. And working towards preventive measures to avoid recurrence of such incidents.
• Excited to build continuous improvement and innovation practices within the group.
• Ability to work with different teams like Engineering, DevOps, Security, Warehouse Operations Team for maintaining high SLAs of the applications we support.
• Good Analytical abilities & troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure & tight deadlines
• Experience with the implementation of process, procedures, and SLA adherence.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting with APIs and APM tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and “Customer service attitude”.
• This role requires 24 x 7 support, rotational shifts as needed.
Preferred Skills:
• Domain Expertise in Shipping & Logistics Platform
• Experience in monitoring large-scale systems, infrastructure, and networks
• Experience in writing Database queries, building jobs and debugging performance issues
• Experience debugging web-based applications in C#/.Net
• Knowledge of BizTalk, ActiveBatch, Sumologic, Postman, Foglight, ( monitoring tools-Site 24*7, ) AWS Cloud/Azure Cloud, Visual Studio for troubleshooting, (MSSQL, MongoDB- Mandatory).

Nice to have Skills: VMware, AWS Cloud, New Relic
• Knowledge on scripting tools like Python, Powershell
