Job Description

Engineering Delivery Head is a leadership role to drive and significantly impact the growth momentum of the company . The Engineering Delivery Head is expected to lead an India team of 100+ (and growing) cloud and full stack professionals delivering end-to-end projects across cloud modernization, mobile, portals and enterprise level digital transformation.

Engineering Delivery Head is expected to drive customer engagements, ensure high quality project deliveries, nurture and grow engineering team, and develop strong cloud solutions. The candidate will be expected to drive the thought leadership and strategy for pioneering and implementing end-to-end engineering solutions.

Candidate will also be responsible to partner with onsite and offshore leads and develop engineering delivery team. The candidate is expected to bring domain expertise in one or more of company’s industry vertical of business (LS/HC, BFS, Telecom), cloud, Infra and DevOps best-practices, solve client business problems and identify new opportunities for a client.

Education: Bachelors/Masters (Engineering/ Commerce/ Economics/Maths/Stats/MBA) from a top-tier university

Experience: 15+ years of experience in Cloud and Digital engineering delivery lead roles

Job Description

Problem Solving & Solutioning:
• Strong problem solving skills with ability to translate a vaguely defined business problem into analytical solution framework
• Ability to understand and analyze business metrics. Ability to influence business/tech stakeholders
• Structured thinking skills with an ability to deal both at high level and at micro level at any point
• Strong analytical, mathematical, logical, interpersonal, team management and client management skills.

Domain Expertise:
• Strong experience in Lifesciences/Pharma or BFS or Telecom domain, solving wide array of business problems


Client and Delivery Management
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders across all levels
• Good exposure to client management, presentations, proposal creation, project management, etc.
• Manage programs and engagements from resource mobilization to first contact to final delivery and ensure adherence to scope, timelines, budgets, quality standards, and risk management to ensure customer delight
• Engage in client communications for all important functions including data understanding/ exploration strategizing solutions, etc.
• Excellent oral, written, power point presentation skills

Technical Prowess:
• Strong experience in leading enterprise level implementation in the space of Cloud (AWS/ Azure/GCP) and digital engineering programs that involves technologies such as React, Angular, Springboot, .Net, Java and API development
• A deep knowledge of Cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools and services
• Strong experience in Agile best practices, estimation methodologies and quality management
• Exposure to data and analytics solutions

Team Management & Growth
• Proven ability to manage, grow and expand large engineering delivery team
• Strong experience in resource planning, allocation, utilization and attrition management
• Ability to drive team engagement, with strong interpersonal skills
• Strong recruitment skills with proven experience in defining & evaluation key skills (technical, interpersonal)
• Ability to work closely with HR functions (talent acquisition and talent management) to drive high quality talent acquisition and engagement
