Job Description

• Be an expert in process, systems and tools in the Automotive purchasing and supply chain areas
• Effectively understand pain points / improvement areas / requirements from users and come up with solutions to improve ways of working.
• Develop, document and implement continuous Improvements related to purchasing
• Work with the digitalization team to come up with solutions based on the needs of the stakeholders and drive digitalization projects
• Gather Continuous Improvement ideas and identify potential improvements from process assessment, anchor with relevant stakeholders, develop, implement, and measure the outcome.
• Drive and implement change management for any new purchasing process or digital tool to reach out to end user
• Monitor the market, benchmark, and develop competitive analysis.
• Promote global processes and tools usage, supporting process compliance on a global level.
• Responsible to implement and deploy the product changes to business effectively.
• Conduct analysis related to purchasing date to provide actionable insights & identify trends
• Be the first point of contact for questions in your area, follow-up, and provide feedback
• Translate the vision , objectives and need of business in the transformative areas leading to solutions in terms of efficient tools and process enhancements

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration
• Worked in automotive purchasing function and having Indepth knowledge of complete purchasing with supply chain process
• Excellent decision-making skills, considering risks and opportunities, with an ownership mindset
• Exposer and work experience relate to digitalization is added advantage
• Continuous Improvement and Excellence mindset with good communication skills (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical, prioritization and negotiating skills
• Good understanding of new and different market trends
• Strong business acumen with very good technical and digital expertise
• Excellent interpersonal and networking skills - true connector working in eco-systems
• Positive and collaborative mindset and strong energy to contribute to the success of the Volvo Group
