Job Description
• Lead the team of engineers to design and develop modular and light weight body designs for electric buses.
• Ensure teams delivery on releases as per plan
• Monitor and Review designs periodically to ensure teams adherence to QCD targets
• Closely work with Vehicle and Program team to align resources and plan delivery
• Explore new tech to evolve efficient designs
Requirements
• Experience in bus body integration & architecture.
• Knowledge on Global Bus Standards (CMVR/AIS/UBS/GCC, ECE, GSO etc.)
• Experience in resolving production issues and field failures.
• Knowledge on CAE and Rollover analysis
• Hands on working experience in CATIA preferably V6 and 3D experience
• Knowledge on harness, electrical and electronics components
• Knowledge of product life cycle management
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, body & chassis aggregates, Bus body build and integration
• “Must have” hands on experience in execution of bus body build with multiple coach builders
• “Must have” handled modular designs
• “Must have” handled light weighting projects
