SAP - Finance and Controlling

Leading Automotive Company - Chennai location

Candidate should have 8+ years of experience and preferable 5+ experience in a team-leader role.
Hands on experience on SAP in one of the modules of FI/CO/MM/SD and awareness of finance & controlling processes are mandatory. Awareness of SAP-HANA will be added advantage.
Ideally we prefer that the candidate should be an MBA grad though its not a mandatory qualification.
PMP qualified candidates preferred.
Candidate should be well versed with processes for finance and controlling and bring an analytical mindset on board. Knowledge of SAP should be there as well. He/She will be leading a team of internal SAP consultants and also will have to work with SAP suppliers.
As a leader, person should be ready to accept the responsibility for all IT topics in the F&C area, guide and mentor the team for their growth and steer topics effectively. Ideal candidate should be self-driven who is proactive and believes in taking charge of the topics instead of a reactive approach.
He/She should have a proven experience in demonstrating an ability to take bold decisions, address complex topics in a fast paced cross-cultural environment. Efficient budget management skills and designing cost-effective IT solutions will help in cost-conscious yet dynamic environment.
Position also demands the candidate to lead the internal audits for IT and making sure that there are no compliance issues. You will be face of IT for auditors and will have to make sure the processes are followed and gaps are addressed accordingly. IT management needs to be informed in case of gaps.
The position also will also require the candidate to have a timely interface with higher management. He/She should be abstract thinker who can represent department in the management level discussions and support/aid management with the right inputs in a clear and concise ways.
