Job description

Responsibilities :

- Assist senior members of the deal team with, and lead significant elements of the origination and transaction execution process

- Support the origination process through the preparation of pitch documents, presentations, and engagement proposals etc.

- Prepare marketing materials on the client company including teasers, executive summaries, information memorandums and management presentations with limited guidance

- Build complex financial models, perform transaction and valuation analyses

- Review non-binding bids and legal documentation and assist the senior members in negotiations

- Identify and conduct research on potential buyers/investors (and targets on buy-side transactions)

- Run the process of preparing information for, setting up and managing the data room

- Negotiate and communicate directly with clients, potential buyers/investors and other advisors

- Develop lasting relationships with senior CXO client, investor and advisor executives

- Independently manage several work streams of deal execution coordinating directly with all stakeholders with minimal supervision

Requirements :

- B.Tech / MBA with 4-5 years of relevant professional experience in M&A, debt restructuring or corporate finance

- Worked on at least 3-4 successful private equity, debt restructuring or M&A deals

- Proven aptitude and enthusiasm for conducting detailed financial modeling as well as valuation and strategic analyses

- Networked with mid to senior officials in various banks related to debt restructuring services (if applicable)

- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment

- Fluent in English
