JOB DESCRIPTION FOR ASST. MANAGER/DY.MANAGER MACHINE SHOP-HED
• Department: Production- Machine shop-HED
• Designation: Asst. Manager/ Dy. Manager
• Location: Nagpur
Job-Description-Role & responsibilities:
1. Day to Day Production Planning, Tooling’s, fixtures- Planning & resource planning in Machine Shop
2. Implementation and Maintain of QMS in Machine Shop
3. Zero Assy loss due to Machine Shop Material, On time delivery
4. Discipline, Housekeeping, Kaizen on the Shop floor
5. Minimize rejection and working for Zero rejection
6. Ensure Productivity improvements & reduction in Overall cost within Machine Shop
7. Multiskilling of Operators/Supervisors
Position holder reports to: Sr. GM (Operation)
Qualification Required: B. Tech ( Mechanical)/ DME
Skills Required:
• Production Management
• Handling Conventional machine like Horizontal and vertical boring Machine, Milling, lathe etc.
• Tooling Management
• Jigs and fixtures Knowledge
• Leadership and Team players
• Knowledge of Measuring Instruments, drawings readings, Standards, Tolerances etc..
Requirements
Experience Required: B. Tech (Mechanical) with minimum 8 years of Experience / DME with 10 Years’ Experience in Machine Shop, Preferably Heavy Engineering industry.
