Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primarily accountable for end-to-end management of the category services, providing thought-leadership and coordination of daily operations of studio and post-production teams

• Accountability of managing daily studio operations, including model resource planning, output scheduling, studio mgmt.
• Implementing creative ideas and specifics given by central creative team
• Act as co-authority to take calls on giving direction in terms of visual appropriateness & creativity to both studio team and external teams, based on overall creative strategy
• Supervise and inspire the studio team to align thinking, processes and output to international standards strictly keeping consumer focus and need in mind
• Managing team of AM’s, TL and Sr. Stylists who inturn manage teams of stylists, catalog writers, stock mgmt, photographers and post productions teams
• Providing strategic direction, conducting performance appraisals and motivation to the internal team
• Continually reviewing workflow and process. Should lead by example and drive the production teams to work commercially, focusing on customer awareness and financial impact on the business.
• Liaise with category planning and warehouse teams on a regular basis on studio inflow/outflow, highlighting any issues and forecasting them
• Stakeholder mgmt of internal project, catalog and category teams to enable business prioritization and managing metrics
• Manage throughput & quality of editorial catalog content and images with the overall goal of promoting sales and a cohesive online brand experience for customers, suppliers and staff and ultimately using content as a differentiator within the industry.
• Commercial acumen and market focused, ensuring products are visually appealing and is of international standards
• Report out on a daily/weekly or as per business requirements on team output, challenges and planning.
• Demonstrate a flexible attitude and be responsive to change and last minute requests.
• To create & ensure Catalog images meet global standards of quality, styling, editing and consistent progression in improvements.
• Managing internal studio budgets – model allocation and usage
• Working knowledge of managing production metrics – studio productivity, utilization, prioritization, costs and turn-around-times
• Responsibility to work with internal teams to keep dead inventory of the category to a minimum
• Understand processes, KPI’s and setting of goals for the team to achieve them.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience required:
• Degree educated or relevant experience gained in managing floor operations / Retail Operations professional with a keen bend towards e-commerce studios operations
• A passion for always exceeding internal and external customer expectations. Proactive and able to work with stringent deadlines.
• Numerate with strong computer literacy. Keen Excel knowledge essential.
• Strong eye for detail and organisational skills and strives for a high level of accuracy.
• Team player - build relationships with other internal and external teams
• Excellent work ethic and ability to multi-task.
• Very strong and justifiable people management skills
