Associate Director ? Technology - Infrastructure

Post-trade technology and professional services firm

• Oversee the entire infrastructure including AWS, compute, storage, Linux, Windows, authentication, authorization, deployment, monitoring, continuous integration, delivery, automation etc.
• Own and improve the information architecture, design, and implementation of our cloud environment.
• Own the infrastructure team’s roadmap; plan and deliver transformative and critical client committed deliverables.
• Engage with the Technical Relationship Management team and the clients to scope business critical infrastructure projects
• Design appropriate solutions, balancing cost, quality, and time to market
• Be accountable for delivery and sign off of projects

What you’ll need
: • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 12+ years of experience
• A deep knowledge and understanding of the challenges of delivering custom software, inclusive of low/no touch support, adapting to changing client demands, and appropriate selection of technical solutions
• Experience in architecting large scale distributed applications
• Deep end to end understanding of modern infrastructure, devops and SRE principles
• Exposure to any of the prominent cloud based providers (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Experience in information security topics and security-first development practices
• Experience leading a team of highly skilled engineers
• The ability to oversee multiple projects and engagements concurrently
• Experience managing delivery across a breadth of technical domains
• Experience working with Restful APIs, third-party integrations, etc.
• Experience in fintech is major bonus.
• Exceptional verbal and written communications skills. The ability to write clearly and communicate openly with the team is required.
