Job Description

Job purpose

The role entails handling one unit within project management team that is involved in managing end to end primary market research projects. The role entails implementing strategy by mentoring direct reports, building trusted advisor relationships with clients and driving decisions on resource allocation, work processes and adherence to quality/data security standards (ISO/ISMS). The main tasks, would include managing multiple projects, tracking service metrics, managing budgets & financials, and leading the project management delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing relationships with client service and leadership stakeholders like Global Account Lead, Operation Account Lead etc., ensuring the project is delivered as per the SOW and set standards.
• setting up new accounts, transition and workstreams related to market research
• providing leadership and clear direction to team members
• Overall management of staff, including overseeing:
o recruitment of staff
o training and career development of staff
o annual evaluations and monitoring of progress
o setting goals and objectives for senior team members
• Provides expert guidance to the team and clients, when required
• Identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements
• Have frequent development discussions with direct reports.
• Creates opportunities for others to grow/develop
• Understands the wider business context when making decisions
• Monitors the teams’ financials - Job creation, invoicing, outstanding, etc.
• Forecasting and budgeting for the team

Qualifications

Technical
• Mandatory 15-17 years overall experience in service delivery. Min experience in Market Research > 5yr with research background.
• People management experience with a min span of 30 managed in the past
• Knowledge on Project financials (estimation, budgeting etc.) and strong project management experience
• Working knowledge in word, excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
• Certification/Good knowledge of PMP, PRINCE2, SCRUM Master methodologies are preferred but not mandatory
• Six Sigma knowledge would be beneficial
