Responsibilities

Operations

• Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies
• Plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt and dispatch of goods
• Have a clear understanding of the company's policies/vision and how the warehouse contributes to these
• Coordinate the use of automated and computerized systems where necessary
• Respond to and deal with customer communication by email and telephone
• Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate
• Brief staff on materials to be loaded, unloaded, stacked and delivered
• Maintain warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
• Responsible for overall security arrangements of the goods
• Overseeing the receipt and storage of incoming & outgoing items
• Check documents for thoroughness & completeness and prepare additional documentation when necessary
• Check with customers for changes that could affect delivery schedule; revise schedule as needed
• Scheduling equipment maintenance and replacing when required
• Ensuring products are stocked correctly and safely
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Working hours typically include early starts, late finishes, weekends and shift work. Work load for manager is heavier in peak seasons

Compliance
• Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by coordinating operational SOPs
• Comply with state & local warehousing laws, material handling and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; advising management on needed actions
• Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols

Customer Experience
• Highlight BH performance to Customer through dashboards, reports etc
• Manage escalations and take corrective measures to avoid rep

Requirements

Must have an experience of handling entire warehouse and logistic operation of regions.
