Job Description

 

The position is for an experienced Functional Testing Lead in the Central Technology team and will primarily be responsible for managing the testing activities across HR Portfolio. This will involve managing the testing team and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure proper working of testing function

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Liaising directly with Testing team, Business or process owner to develop strong understanding of the business process and Integration requirements
Hands on testing Workday releases planned and other HR projects
Plan and manage the testing activities for upcoming releases in all HR Workstream.
Accurately reporting test preparation and execution progress to the Stakeholders
Handle the testing team concerns and ensure smooth working of testing workstream
Manage the resource Utilization of all the testing resources
Maintain a current working knowledge of the key business systems and future developments.
Conduct Triage calls and Root cause analysis meetings

Requirements

Essential Skills:

E./B.Tech/MBA/M.C.A/Any other Bachelor’s Degree.
At least 9-10 years of experience into manual testing.
Excellent Team Management Skills
At least 4-5 years of experience in handling the Testing team
At least 2 year of experience in HR processes like Compensation, Talent Management, recruitment etc.
Good domain understanding of HR systems
Ability to liaise with a number of stakeholders in application development and business groups
Ability to think from a customer viewpoint and to understand the complexities of the business
Experience of working with agile methodologies.
Experience of working with multi-cultural and geographically disparate teams.
Ability to accurately log defects, escalate issues and risks.
Be able to demonstrate consistent and good judgement of assessing severity of issues.
Ability to think from a customer viewpoint and to understand the complexities of the business.
Exposure to “Workday”.
