Job Description

• Adept in handling operations ensuring optimum inventory levels to achieve maximum cost savings without hampering operations.
• Instrumental in managing, development & implementation of key strategies / contingency plan with vendors for material / products.
• Responsible for co-ordination with Suppliers to ensure on-time delivery as per requirement.
• Responsible for Logistics co-ordination.
• Pivotal in assuring cost-effective logistics operations & seamless material movement.
• Development and implementation of Stores strategies, maximum floor space utilization, FIFO and KANBAN, Material issue system.
• Implementation of effective daily MIS system and 12 Panel matrixes to run and control key operations.
• Performing entire end to end warehouse (store’s) function right from material inward to outward, inward strategy, inventory management, warehouse management with 3rd party logistics provider
• Administered day-to-day operations of store with a fast-moving inventory
• Developing and implemented performance & quality improvement programs, redefining store positions & establishing hourly production standards while adhering to SLA management as Head Stores
• Streamlining entire gamut of raw material stores, engineering stores and finished goods stores) activities for cost effective procurement and seamless stores operations
• Driving logistics planning process for the region by developing and driving outsourcing strategies, focusing on identification, evaluation, selection, negotiation, and management of world-class 3PL providers on regional and country basis; established standards and procedures to monitor Third Party Logistics (3PL) performance
• Building systems and procedures to implement control on warehouse process, production line feeding, material scheduling, inventory control, which assures availability of parts, materials in accordance with Just-in-Time delivery schedules, while, maintaining minimum inventory
• Assessing all performance indicators and continuous improvement processes associated
• Monitoring stock level and proposing figures for new orders or production, due to import or production lead-time
• Formulating action plan in case of overstock or out of stock, balancing customer service and cost optimization
• Assessing the non moving inventory and tagging the same in SAP to arrest further procurement
