Sr. Test Analyst (Database testing / ETL Testing / DW Testing

• Creation and execution of Test Scenarios, Test Cases and Test Data in a Data-centric Data warehouse and reporting ecosystem.
• Usage of complex SQL/Oracle Queries/Scripts to validate the data and to do reconciliation of data between As-Is vs. To-Be systems.
• Creation and maintenance of end-to-end Automation scripts (progression, regression suite) with ability to mock end-to-end required test-data along with master/reference-data so as to simulate different functional data scenarios.
• Ability to analyse defects and provide root-cause analysis.
• Escalating concerns at the appropriate time to the Project Manager
• Liaising with other Business Analysis & Systems’ teams to understand functional or operational implications of changes.

• B.E./B.Tech. Or M.C.A. in Computer Science from a reputed University.
• 4-6 yrs (STA) of experience in database software testing preferably financial domain.
• Experience of working with Agile Methodologies including TDD.
• Hands on experience in testing manual and automation for database / ETL testing.
• Proper understanding of complex SQL/Oracle Queries/Scripts to validate the data.
• Experience in automation test scripting, execution and scheduling.
• Understanding of automation test principles, tools and frameworks.
• Thorough understanding of test principles such as unit, smoke, functional (black box/white box), user acceptance and usability testing.
• Experience and working knowledge of tools such as Quality Centre and Jira.
• Candidate should be familiar with financial / Investment domain.
