Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities -
- Should have experience in Material Management, Vendor Development and Purchase in Sheet Metal Parts, Heavy Fabricated Parts.
- Experience in development of sourcing strategies and Material Management activities involving Material Planning, Scheduling and Procurement of material from various sources, SCM.
- Track record of significant achievements, to include reducing costs and developing, improving purchasing programs to meet corporate objectives.
- Good hands on skills in Vendor negotiation, Vendor communication, Cost negotiation, Inventory management and hence lead responsible for Group activities and team performance.
- Experience with sourcing high quality suppliers, negotiating contracts including bulk procurement and labour charge agreements.
- Component Analysis/Cost Estimation/Contract Negotiation/Multi-Site Operations/Order and Requisition Placement/Order Expediting/Price Reductions/Supplier Identification, Selection and Management.
- Experience with Advance industrial processes like Laser Cutting, Plasma Cutting bending & welding processes.
- Experience with Surface coating Processes like Plating, Powder Coating, Shot Blasting, CED coating & their costs.
- Skilled in managing material, controlling inventory. End User of SAP R/3 Materials Management.

- Should have hand on experience in Sheet Metal & Fabrication.
