Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities -
- Development & Procurement of Plastic/Rubber/SMC Parts & Moulds along with fixtures.
- Lead Sourcing of Plastics, SMC, Seats, Filter, Acoustics, Decals, Adhesive
- Identifying & evaluating potential suppliers for various commodities like Plastic/Rubber/SMC/Seats/ Automotive Glasses & Mirror
- Reviewing the manufacturing processes & implementation of corrective actions.
-Floating RFQs, receiving quotes, conducting techno-commercial discussions and jointly working with Engineering and price panel to achieve desired technical and commercial targets
-Feasibility study meeting with R&D and Suppliers.
Quotation evaluation, comparative analysis and negotiation for source finalisation.
-Release of purchase orders to sources
- Implementation of various Engineering Changes (ECN) within a targeted time frame
- Providing technical assistance to suppliers for development of components, tooling and fixtures
Vendor capacity analysis, evaluation and rating accordingly. Raw Material cost settlement, Raw Material Indexing & Subsequent price’s Amendment of the commodities, Process Actualization.
- Optimisation of procurement cost for improving Company profitability & meeting business plans through Centralized Purchasing, Alternate RM Study & VA-VE activities, Second Sourcing & Localizations.
Requirements
- Candidate should have Plastics/Rubber Experience is mandatory.
- Education : B.Tech/B.E/MBA
- Location - Jaipur
- Experience - 5 years to 10 years
