Job Description
1. Steel specifications for press & fabricated parts , castings
2. Knowledge of sheet sizes, specifications and their sources
3. Press & fabrication parts manufacturing processes & development cycle
4. Exposure to laser/ plasma cutting, bending and welding processes
5. Costing of press & fabricated parts
6. Powder coating, liquid painting process and their costs
7. Packaging and Logistic of parts
8. Exposure to welding fixture design & development
9. Costing of welding, machining fixtures and press tooling
10. Exposure to press parts & tools manufacturing industry
11. Responsible for achieving cost targets by means of strategies / resources./ VE ./ negotiations.
12. To co-ordinate with local materials team for smooth transition of competes
13. To –co-ordinate with new suppliers, to co-ordinate with QA team for development & supplies.
Requirements
Qualification : B.Tech/B.E
Location - Halol, Gujarat
Experience - 12+ years of experience
- Should have experience in Strategic Sourcing, New Vendor Development and Price Negotiation.
