Job Description

Responsible to manage high performance team of individuals to create world class medical devices.
Works with other cross-functional and architecture teams across locations to ensure product architectures conform to the core technology strategy, including technology selection, use of common platform infrastructure, cloud capabilities, and global requirements.
Works proactively towards building the required competency in the team, based on future product and technology roadmap.
Responsible for timely closure of all open positions, working closely with HR and other vendor partners to get the best talent on board.
Responsible for the timely and quality deliveries of the tasks assigned to the team.
Work as point of contact for all people related aspects with the stakeholders and review meetings with the team to monitor progress of projects and provide guidance, develop contingent plans, and arrange resources as needed.
Align dedicated and shared resources cross-functionally to optimize to ensure achievement of business results, acquire and develop middle to junior level resources as needed, manage pipeline and contribute to absorption of new technologies, processes and methods by making them part of own team's delivery plan and compliant to Quality Management System and Design Controls.
Communicating frequently across all project disciplines to ensure project team and senior management are aware of upcoming milestones and risks/issues.
Develop Individual Development plans and conduct staffing reviews.
Setting up team’s KRAs and identifying the training needs based on Individual Development plan.
Help in the creation of Roadmap and drive strategies for end-to-end delivery.

Requirements

Tech/B.E/M.C.A/M.Tech/MS. - Computers, Electronics/Telecommunications.
15+ years of relevant work experience.
A People Leader having strong people management skills with proven track record of creating and leading engaged teams of at least 6-8 people for more than 6 years.
Experience working with geographically distributed teams with diverse cultures.
At least 5 years of experience towards Creating and Designing complex applications as technical architect on Windows, DotNet environment.
Experience in making High Level design choices and dictating Technical Standards to teams.
Technically sound with hands-on experience on
OOPs programming in C#/C++
Design Patterns, Data Structures, Multi-threaded programming
Experience in micro-services Architectures, Big Data analytic and Cloud computing
Experience with .Net technologies (C#, WPF, WCF) & Web/Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS).
Experience of working with multi-tiered software application Design & Development
Good understanding of DevOps and associated tools along with engineering experience applying DevOps and CI/CD concepts in Agile software development.
Sound understanding of Agile Software Development methodology with good experience of working with multiple teams in Scrum based model.
Solid understanding of all the phases of SDLC process backed by rich experience in leading multiple software releases.
Knowledge of BDD (Behavior-driven development), TDD (Test-driven development) and Continuous Integration of infrastructure code.
Experience in creating reports, presentations using tools like VISIO, PowerPoint, UML etc.
