Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:
● Provide leadership to a team of a 120+ strong Engineering team. This position will have multiple
Directors as reportees.
● Provide thought leadership in terms of product direction, technical roadmap, and development
● Work very closely with Product Management and cross-functional teams to drive the execution
of product roadmap across multiple verticals
● The scope of ownership includes multiple Product Engineering Teams along with Architecture /
Platform, Application Support, DevOps, SecOps, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, and Data
Science teams.
● Build a highly skilled and efficient team by hiring, keeping the team motivated, and managing
● Build a culture of predictable and agile development, continuous improvement, and a strong
sense of product ownership.
● Lead a culture of innovation and experimentation - not afraid of failure but fail fast and learn.
● Drive a culture of high quality at all stages by driving best practices, CI/CD, and automation..
● Prepare and optimize budgets for technology costs.


Skills and Experience:
● Strong organizational leadership skills and the ability to build cross functional relationships.
● Excellent logical, problem-solving, mentoring, and coaching skills.
● Ability to inspire and motivate teams.
● Ability to influence product roadmap, define multi-year technology roadmaps.
● Proven experience in hiring and building high-performance teams and scalable best-practices in
an SaaS/B2C Product engineering organizations
● 10+ years of experience mentoring and leading teams. At least 5 years of experience managing
Directors / Senior Managers and handling teams of 100+ engineers.
● Strong technical aptitude and proven experience in architecture, design, and delivery of scalable
SaaS/B2C applications.
● The ability to envision the future engineering needs of the company – plan and implement
● Ability to benchmark engineering team maturity, define a roadmap to improve and execute on it.
● Experience with CI/CD processes and CloudOps, DevOps, SecOps practices
● Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
● Long term experience with at least one product from inception to completion and evolution of
the product over multiple years.
● Experience in cloud-native application patterns and tools, microservices architectures, and web
application frameworks.
● Experience working with big data technologies such as Spark/Storm/Hadoop/Data Lake
Architectures is a plus. Experience working with mobile technologies is a plus.

B.Tech/MCA (IT/Computer Science) from a premier institution (IIT/NIT/BITS) and/or a US Master's degree
in Computer Science.
