Offnet Procurement Lead

A Global company that provides network services for enterprises, new media providers and telecoms carriers.

Job Summary
• This person will be responsible for sourcing off net access and connectivity quotes from global telecom carriers, local access providers, aggregators, and service partners
• Person will have close collaboration with sales teams throughout the organization
• Key interaction with other departments including Service Delivery, Operations, Finance and Legal
• Drive service improvement changes in existing company processes
• He/She will manage a team of 8-10 resources.
• Ensure turnaround of pricing requests within set deadlines and agreed SLAs
• Liaising with suppliers daily to ensure deadlines are being met
• Ensuring pricing is accurate and valid at time of quote
• Drive a ‘centre of excellence’ mentality regarding carrier pricing, processes, and service availability
• Proactively keep stakeholders up to date on the progress of pricing requests
• Promptly manage escalations
• Manage the team’s day to day workload, setting priorities and receiving information on ongoing tasks
• Provide regular reporting as required

• Good knowledge & understanding of various cost components of telecom access products and services
• Experience of procuring Telco Products/Connectivity Products is a plus.
• Commercially astute, accurate and good problem-solving skills with flexible and positive approach to changing and conflicting priorities
• Experience in commercial sourcing
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Minimum 8+ years of experience ideally from global telecom field or technology background
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
