QA Architect-Networking

US-based consulting, analytics and technology services firm. Have deep domain expertise in Financial Services, Telecom, Life Science & Healthcare and Product Engineering.

This role demands a Datacom and cloud Testing expert, who can understand the overall system architecture, QA mindset and utilize skillset/s to ensure better quality releases. One will be responsible for detailed QA strategy design, working with QA leads to make the QA process streamlined as per product requirement. Reviewing/preparing the test strategy, ensuring and enhancing the test coverage for a better-quality product.
One should understand customer deployments, use cases and incorporate them in test strategy. Over & above project need incumbent should focus on mentoring team members/peers for effectively testing various sub-systems, protocols and features.

• Expert in various Networking protocols across Layer 2, Layer 3
• Management Interfaces such as SNMP, Web, Rest Based Interfaces etc.
• Hands on experience on Networking Products – Router, Switches, Gateways.
• Security (Firewall, VPN , ACL, NAT, IPSec, IPS/IDS, DPI for DNP3/MODBUS)
• Expert in CI/CD implementation using Jenkins
• Understanding of Linus internals
• Automation using Python and Selenium
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting various control and data plane problems in system.
• Lead and mentor QA team members
• Expertise in Selenium built automation framework from scratch to aid with regression and other repeatable tests.
• Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
