Job Description
Designation- Associate/ AVP
Senior Tableau SME (subject matter expert) will work hand in hand with multiple business and engineering teams to run data visualization platform.
Your Role:
• Install/Upgrade and Configure Tableau application and its components.
• Create and manage user RnR, Security, SSL, SSO support for Tableau & other integrated Applications
• Monitor the performance of Tableau application and availability of its components.
• Troubleshoot Service Requests, Incidents, Problem related to BI Application and its components technologies/framework(Custom Tableau Portal, Tableau Deployment Tool).
• Backup/Restore application components, Monitor and maintain the DR setup.
• Work with other peer team (OS, Storage, Network, Compute, Data, Application Engineering) for infrastructure support and integration with other applications.
• Migrate and Support tableau onPrem to Cloud.
• Automate manual jobs through CLI/Rest API (Bash/PowerShell/Python/JavaScript)
• Work in a fast-paced Agile environment especially as it pertains to new idea generation.
• Learn quickly and be excited by big challenges.
Requirements
Experience required- 4 years - 9 years only
Qualification- B.E/B.tech
• Extensive experience in installing, configuring, administering ,and troubleshooting Tableau environment.
• Scripting experience (Bash, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript) for CLI and REST API.
• SQL and database management experience.
• Identity management experience (Active Directory, LDAP, SAML, OpenID, Kerberos).
• Proven track record and portfolio of successful work in Tableau community (Tableau Public profile).
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communications skills - capable of developing well-structured communications and presentations.
Additional Information
• Experience in finance is a plus.
• Working knowledge of MicroStrategy is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Python is a plus.
• Experience working with micro services is a plus.
• Tableau Viz champion (Viz of the day, week, month or Zen master) is a plus.
