Job Description

Position: Manager/Sr Manager -PMO
Reporting: Head PMO

Location: Vizag

JD for PMO role:

• Lead the development of strategies and plans for new growth and improvement opportunities, and ensure their effective execution
• Establish plans to expand service area scope (both long and short term) and develop recommendations and business cases with all analyses and costings
• Manage site product portfolio (current & future) to enhance site capability/profitability collaborating commercial, R&D and others in the network and create site level plans. Act as single point of contact for site product portfolio.
• Lead project design, development, planning, implementation, Governance, working with cross functional/regional teams in the matrix set-up and reporting to ensure these meet the original objectives, costs and remain aligned to the strategic plans
• Lead independently site initiatives on capacity expansions, major modifications and other adhoc projects critical to business
• Lead efforts to identify and mitigate risks, resolve key project conflicts, and establish appropriate resolution paths
• Measure program/project performance using appropriate tools and techniques and ensure that clear and concise status reports are available to the steering committee and stakeholders and that issues are escalated properly in timely manner
• Lead the establishment of the change control and configuration management processes for each program/project against agreed baseline plans and ensures it is maintained
• Lead the communication to all stakeholders, ensure support from stakeholders to ensure that expectations and program deliverables are aligned
• Ensure that the quality of deliverables is as agreed in the project plan. Agree the technical and quality strategy with appropriate members of the steering committee and ensure that regular quality reviews are established
• Lead/Participate in site reviews and governance process engaging key stakeholders, sponsors and facilitate decision making to deliver performance to the expectation
• Ensure adherence to policies and guidelines of Vizag site and global organization
• Act with integrity & influence all the tasks performed focussing on patient safety always

Requirements

Technical Skills:
• Project Management

Additional Information

Qualification & Experience:
• Graduation in Engineering, Pharmacy or Post graduate in Science or Technology
• Min 9 years of experience in the project management in handling complex projects and managing product portfolio in pharma and related industries. Preference shall be given to the candidate having experience in delivery management of API, Formulation or Life sciences industry for minimum 4 years
