Primary Responsibilities:
• Responsible for managing the transformation-automation team which provides automated system
solutions and process re-engineering to the business operations functions including Spares Ops,
Logistics and other Global Ops functions (Supply Chain etc) and drive interaction with management,
cross-functional stakeholders, end-users to handle a variety of functions:
o Own three primary tactical wings of the transformation team: 1) Design, Development, Deployment,
2) Sustenance & Adoption and 3) Technology Exploration
o Responsible for the delivery of automation solutions to a global user base to ensure project savings
& adoption are realized, plan to bridge gaps, create & own KPIs, ensure business satisfaction
o Actively manage team’s bandwidth by dynamically shuffling individual priorities while still ensuring
tight adherence to the annual roadmap plan
o Drive a team of systems architect, developers and business systems analysts to work
synergistically to achieve rapid delivery of projects, resolution of issues, round the clock
maintenance support, obtain cross-functional support and highest ensure quality of execution
o Work hand-in-glove with the Analytics (BPDA) team to understand latest technology trends, involve
in corporate CoE discussions and directions, take part in cross-functional discussions with GIS,
InfoSec, Data teams and other third parties as required
• Support daily issues/escalations related to global automation operations. Escalate to relevant crossfunctional stakeholders as needed
• Work towards three strategic goals: 1) Design, build & deploy state of the art automation solutions, 2)
Delight end-user through superior build quality & support experience, 3) Be at the fore-front of
technological innovation. All decisions and day to day planning will need to be aimed towards these
• Responsible for team deliverable for ensuring efficiency & effectives of the work with standard of
quality and due diligence to laid out operating procedures
• Analyze reports and metrics for deviation from plan, reconciles data variances and uses that information
to guide the identification of root cause and execution of corrective action activities to deliver system
capability, improvement, process redesign & implement changes
• Ensure timely resolution of run-time issues that come up in production and seek necessary crossfunctional support as and when required
• Responsible to manage & report weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, including KPI’s and Operational
Metrics related to all automation operational performance and maintenance effort
• Closely track support hours put in by the team through ServiceNow ticketing and promote its adoption
• Support Annual Operating Plan initiatives for Global Spares, Logistics and other GOps functions and be
actively driving continuous improvement and lean process improvement efforts
• Provide expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing technology & systems requirements and
procedures that are cost effective, selecting the right technology platforms & architecture, meet user
requirements and consider data quality requirements
• Perform capacity analysis based on standard volume and surges, with regards to server capacity,
license availability and surface technical challenges to management
• Be at the forefront of technology, constantly exploring & evaluating platforms and solutions that fit best
for the business
Mandatory Skills required to perform the job:
• Proven experience in any of the below titles towards driving business process
transformational/automation actives for a global user base:
o Business process re-engineering/re-designo Managing automation programs for a global company
o Functional experience/know-how on AutomationAnywhere or Winshuttle or Esker or
PowerApps/BI/Automate
o Driving Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt level projects
o Leading technical teams through the design, development, deployment and maintenance cycle
• Proficiency in SAP, MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
o Proficiency with transactional operations of SAP (S/4 HANA or ERP or R/3)
o Strong knowledge MS office tools like Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio
• Leading technical/engineering teams on a portfolio/programs and achieving compelling results for the
business that meets or exceeds expectations and managed within planned budget and timeline
• Proven ability and skill set to analyze, document and improve business processes with sustained
Results
• A keen eye for detail and results driven approach, outstanding communication skills, Excellent
organizational and leadership skills; High energy, strong work ethic, adaptive, able to meet tight
deadlines
• At times when business necessitates, open to work in shifts to support global automation ops
• Demonstrated data driven decision making experience; Strong analytical, problem solving, system skills
Desirable Skill:
• Proven experience in managing operations in Logistics, warehouse operations, order management or
reverse logistics, repair operations or spares operations, planning, forecasting, inventory management
etc. in a global company
• Lean Six Sigma MBB, BB or GB certification and experience
• Exposure to new tools & technology towards business process automation would be added advantage
• Hands on experience on technology platform(s) like Automation Anywhere or Winshuttle or Esker or
PowerApps/BI/Automate would be added advantage
• Hands on experience on data visualization tools, SQL, databases, MS Access, programming, statistics
would be added advantage
