Senior Manager- Java/.Net

A US-based Product Engineering company, mostly known for its postage meters and other mailing equipment & services.

• Manage a team of architects, developers, and QA engineers.
• Collaborate with and mentor members of the team and other coworkers
• Estimate and manage projects to ensure timely deliveries with quality
• Work with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative solutions that meets the needs of our customers
• Evaluate and incorporate new technologies into new and existing frameworks and solutions as applicable.
• Adopt best practices in all aspects of product engineering: development, testing, DevOps, security, and production monitoring.
• Be agile and embrace change

• Strong technical aptitude with hands on development experience in cloud-based applications that includes web and mobile clients
• Experience with one or more major SaaS platforms: AWS (preferred), MS Azure, or GCP.
• Proven leadership in managing and engaging development teams.
• Experience in managing multiple project deliveries in parallel.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse and distributed product teams in an agile environment.
• At least 8+ years of hands on programming experience in building web applications using Java, .NET or equivalent technologies.
• Experience in micro services development with REST APIs.
• Experience with NoSQL database systems: MongoDB, Cassandra, and RDBMS
• Experience with front end web technologies: Angular, ReactJS, JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with mobile app development: Android, iOS
• Programming experience in C, C++, or similar procedural language
• UG - B.Tech/B.E. OR PG – M.S. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline 
• Certification in Agile Project Management: PMP, Prince2 or equivalent
• At least 14+ years’ of work experience, with 5+ years in managing development teams.
