Job Description

We are looking for Operations Risk Management (ORM) consultant with overall 15+ years’ experience, including 7-10
years ORM consulting experience to join our fast growing consulting business. Experience in manufacturing operations in a Line Management or EHS function role will be an added advantage.

You will be a high energy, resourceful, analytical individual with a passion for results. You will use your excellent analytical, problem solving, and sophisticated client engagement skills to identify value creation opportunities at our clients and work with subject matter experts / ex-operators to convert these opportunities into executable plans. You will be skilled at using a hypothesis led approach to rapidly focus on the few areas yielding the highest value in your clients.

Requirements

Bachelors’ degree in Engineering. A Masters or MBA post Bachelors’ degree in Engineering will be a plus
15+ years of overall experience, including:
7-10 years of Operations Risk Management (ORM) experience, preferably with any reputed EHS Risk
management consulting firm. Specifically:
a) Broad understanding of ORM and how different management and operations elements are
linked together;
b) Strong knowledge and practical experience in application / facilitation of a wide range of risk
analysis and risk management techniques;
c) Strong background and knowledge of Process Safety Management elements including Process
Technology, PHA techniques like HAZOP, Consequence Analysis, QRA, LOPA, SIL, Facility Siting
etc. Additional knowledge of Operating Procedures & Safe Work Practices, Management of
Change (Technology, Facility & People), Mechanical Integrity & Quality Assurance, Emergency
Response & Contingency Planning, PSM Audits, PSM Incident Investigation etc. is desired
d) Ability to effectively deliver training and coaching sessions to senior executives to
build/strengthen capabilities;
e) Experience along the entire lifecycle of an asset, from concept, design/build,
operations/maintenance, modification and asset retirement;
