Purpose of your role
The successful candidate will work as self contributor to the project.
Key Responsibilities
The role is focused on delivery of critical functionality for existing and new applications. The candidate is expected to devise solutions to complex problems while working within project constraints and requirements with special focus on maintainability, scalability and performance. The successful candidate will be a key member of the delivery team currently distributed across India and the UK. As a new joiner the individual is expected to bring up to date ideas and thoughts on tools, practices etc.
Requirements
Your Skills and Experience
• Essential skills
• Technical
o A minimum of 4-6 years(SAP)/ 2-4 yrs(AP) of ‘hands on’ system software analysis, development and unit-testing using Oracle PLSQL with expertise in Oracle PLSQL.
o Experience in developing from the low level design of the Warehouse solutions
o Knowledge of essential Software Engineering principles.
o Strong knowledge of Relational Databases Management Systems (RDBMS) concepts.
o Strong knowledge and work experience in Database Designing & Data Modelling techniques. Hands on experience in creating ER diagrams.
o Hands-on experience in developing/maintaining SQL statements (DML/DDL), Stored procedures, Triggers, Packages & Functions in Oracle.
o Strong knowledge of PL/SQL is a must
o Experience in database performance tuning.
o Project development and delivery experience of a few good size projects
o Good Operating Systems knowledge and associated commands (UNIX [AIX/Solaris]).
o Experience in UNIX scripting.
o Experience of other Tools such as Svn, JIRA, Bamboo.
