Job Description

Leading cross asset analysis for portfolio construction and order generation capabilities
Analyse existing systems and understand the business process and data required to support the same.
Review quality of data generated by the applications and automate the required checks as well as
automate reporting for the same
Document the various data flows and application contexts
Identify root cause for issues happening in prod and other environments
Provide pre-implementation and post-implementation support to the systems and business teams

Requirements

About 10+ years of total experience with most of it in Financial Services and experience in Investment
Management front office domain covering research, portfolio management, trading, risk, attribution,
analytics etc.
B. Tech / B.E. or MBA (Finance) preferred
Exposure to structured software development life-cycle methodology (preferably Agile or Iterative
development) & Production Support processes
A good understanding of the overall investment process and data needs of investment firms
Thorough understanding of different asset classes – Equity, Fixed Income and Derivatives. Experience of
working in Portfolio Construction/Management, Research applications or Trading programmes
Must possess strong SQL writing capabilities
Must be an expert in using MS Office products like Visio and Excel
Experience of working with multi-cultural teams in a geographically diverse environment
Nice to have skills include
o Experience of working with 3rd party market data providers like Bloomberg, Reuters etc.
o Experience of working in data platforms
o Understanding of quantitative analysis
o Programming language like python
