Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:
• Responsible for understanding the effect of prioritization rules for expediting order delivery
• Responsible for assessing the impact on the requestor of failing to meet the requested date, and for assessing the impact on other orders of meeting the date
• Responsible for communicating clearly and effectively the level of success at achieving improved delivery dates, and of escalating or not escalating appropriately and immediately when management intervention is or is not required
• Participate in projects within the business unit as an SME in availability and schedule analyses
• Collaborate regularly with regional Spare's Ops, CSBG, Sales Operations teams, manufacturing, supply chain, product group to understand commercial and operational aspects of the shipment plan.
• Works on cross-functional projects to proactively drive problem resolution to meet or improve established goals with a focus on the maximum impact on customer satisfaction and company profitability
• Performs a wide variety of expedite duties in support of the company's customer support objective
• Ensures a timely flow of raw materials, parts, subassemblies, assemblies, or finished goods from external and/or internal suppliers. Locates and expedites critical materials.
• Reviews and monitors open sales order reports, forecast schedules, and stock inventory. Maintains, updates, and inputs material control data system or records and verifies reports for accuracy. Adjusts material counts when discrepancies are noted
• Represents the department in shipment status meetings and follows-up to ensure commitments are met
• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and/or monitor final approval of products through the complete production cycle
• Coordinates supplier delivery plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules
• Provides input to management; schedules and/or interfaces with CSBG, Supply Chain, Sales, Manufacturing, and Engineering/Product Managers
• Manages people for Machine Down Threat Allocations-related projects to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the global Spares organization
• Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s). Interacts with the department or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of a comprehensive solution to a stated business problem or opportunity
• Organizes interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the program/project on schedule and within budget constraints
• Represent the Spares Escalations team on SAP enhancements, business process re-engineering, reporting requirements, and process documentation
• Acts as an advisor to peers, subordinates, and senior management regarding Spares Order Management system and business process capabilities
• Provides day-to-day guidance and leadership as appropriate in the area of expertise or seeks out appropriate resources as required

Requirements

Eligibility Criteria:

• Years of Experience: Minimum 12 to 15 years of overall experience
• Job Experience: Minimum 12 to 15 years of experience in constraint management role would be preferred
• Educational: Bachelor’ s degree in Engineering or MBA (Supply Chain/Operations)

Additional Information

Secondary responsibilities:

• Trigger the weekly cadence of the MDTA process
• Maintain QuickBase MDTA Dashboard and Seek ways to enhance or automate
• Chair Daily Meetings with Global Planners
• Follow up / execute daily deployments and drop shipments
• Coordinate MDTA logistics related activities w / (GLO / Warehouses / Global Depots)
• Participate in allocation calls with Deposition and Etch manufacturing
• Ensure GCS1061 is being adhered to
• Initiate allocation escalations as required
• Participate and coordinate CFT's for recovery of highly escalated parts or suppliers
• Serve as the POC for Spares Ops
• Follow up and escalate Machine Down orders that are associated with parts on MDTA
• Identify at risk parts that may require MDTA addition
• Follow up with Planning & Supply Chain to push for removal of parts from MDTA or Drop shipment once healthy
• Maintain and manage Parts on QHOLD (not on MDTA) Ensure QHOLD is being supported effectively by the warehouse

Mandatory Skills required to perform the job:

• Experience in constraint management and sound knowledge in Order fulfillment, Planning, inventory management, procurement, Production control and customer order management processes
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of team handling experience and proven ability to lead cross functional efforts
• End user experience in SAP MM or other enterprise resource planning tools

Desirable Skill:

• Strong analytical, problem solving and system skills
• High level of customer interfacing skills, effective listener, professional and courteous
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate cross-functionally
• Experience in aftermarket Spares Operations in Automotive or Aviation or Consulting practice
• Exposure to Programming in VBA, Java, C++ and data representation tools such as Qlik sense, Power-BI, Alteryx, PowerApps’s, QuickBase will be an added advantage

Note: Candidates should be comfortable working in shift, weekend and holiday’s based on business needs. Proposed shift timings are 9:00am to 6:00pm[G], 6:00am to 3:00pm [S1] & 1:30pm to 10:30pm [S2]
