Job Description
Must have:
• More than 12 years of professional experience in software development with at least 2 years of experience in leading a team on technology front. Experienced in working in a customer facing role.
• More than 5 years of hands-on experience and understanding of the declarative capabilities of one or more cloud providers (i.e., Azure, AWS, GCP) and the ability to build solutions based on these capabilities.
• Experience in cloud native platforms including the design and automation of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) capabilities, along with Microservices, Functions, Event-driven/reactive programming or other Cloud Native architectures
• Hands on experience of Microservices, Containerization, Docker Components and Orchestration using Kubernetes, architecting scalable commerce workloads using Microservices
• Experience in developing Cloud Fitment Models, Cloud Business Case, Cloud Architecture and Design, Cloud Security, Cloud Infrastructure, network & storage Design.
• Hands-on experience in setting up CI-CD pipeline, infrastructure deployment using Ansible/Terraforms/Chef/Puppet, Automating Canary Analysis on Kubernetes Engine, using Jenkins for Distributed Builds.
• Working knowledge on SQL and No-SQL databases like Cosmos DB, MS SQL, Oracle
• Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ensures that the application changes are appropriately documented, tested and reviewed and occur in agreed change control windows with appropriate monitoring
• Extensive project experience migrating from legacy systems and deploying complex cloud-based solutions
• Experienced in working within Agile/Scrum software development framework
• Ability to drive activities to improve software quality and development methodologies
• Provide mentorship and coaching to technical team members
Requirements
Good to have:
• Either of the Cloud Certification of Architect level would be preferred (Microsoft, Amazon, Google)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to translate complex technical topics to senior stakeholders within the client
• Ability to navigate complex organization hierarchies, build trust and credibility with clients
• Understanding and implementation of security and data protection
• Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals
• Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
