Job Description
his is an opportunity to be a part of Expertise (CoE) team, based out of Gurugram office, and incubate, build and manage FS
data assets in partnership with FS practice. In addition, the Datasets
CoE team works with practices to co-develop and deploy diagnostic tools with case
teams/ clients to asses functional maturity and identify areas of improvement.
CoE consists of 70+ team members, working with multiple
practices like Performance Improvement, Retail, Consumer Products, Financial
Services, etc. We have witnessed exciting growth year-on-year consistently for the
last 8 years, with an expected 50% growth in 2021.
As Project Leader, you will lead team of analysts and associates to lead
management of FS data assets, co-develop diagnostic tools with FS practice and
support case teams/ clients with benchmarking and data insights. Project Leaders
work under the guidance of a Manager / Sr. Manager, playing a key role in driving
the team’s overall work, domain expertise, client communication, work planning
and team management.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Grow existing data assets and conduct research to identify additional
external sources to enhance data coverage
o Assess and validate relevant data from various sources and develop
understanding of internal/ external sources that can be used
o Drive data collection process end-to-end in collaboration with
case teams and enhance proprietary databases
o Ensure strict compliance to legal guidelines while collecting data
o Develop domain expertise across various FS sectors (Banking,
Insurance, Payments, etc.)
• Provide insightful solutions to case teams
o Collaborate closely with case teams to understand case context and
provide advice on how to run benchmarking analysis
o Leverage existing database, resources and conduct secondary research
to provide insightful data solutions to case teams
o Effectively manage client and team meetings and deliver clear and
professional presentations to the team, team leaders and managers/
partners across
• Lead FS Datasets team
o Manage team’s responsibilities which involve allocating, planning,
guiding and reviewing work
o Ensure timely, high quality, zero-defect analysis and output is
produced by the team
o Provide regular feedback to team members and conduct training to
ensure constant growth and improvement
• Develop and enhance standardized data products
o Develop a good understanding of existing products and look for
opportunities to further enhance these offerings
o Collaborate with stakeholders to develop new products/ solutions and
provide necessary tools support
o Look for opportunities to pitch products to case teams, execute the
end-to-end deployment and close loop with feedback calls
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Work experience: 4-6 years of experience in consulting/ research/ analytics, with
hands-on experience in data analysis and visualizations. Prior experience/
familiarity with financial services industry is a must. Front-end core consulting
experience is preferred.
Education Required:
Incumbent should be a graduate from top-tier institute or have pursued a
commerce/ statistical/ analytical course from a Tier 1 university.
Preferred: Concentration in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics,
Computer Science (Engineering), Econometrics, Business Analytics, or Market
Research is strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Knowledge of financial services sector and sub-sectors such as Banking/
Insurance/ Brokerage/ Payments/ NBFC/ Fintech, etc.
- Exceptional analytical & technical skills and knowledge of market research tools
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Prior experience in leading teams/ team-lets and people management
- Proven self-starter with demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, PPT must-have
