SAP Treasury/Banking Functional Specialist will collaborate with Treasury, finance, banks and cross functional teams to execute, maintain and enhance usage of SAP Finance modules, specifically in Banking and Treasury areas. Will have an understanding of interfaces in and out of these modules and standard banking processes.
The Job
• Become the Banking and Treasury go-to IT contact to resolve any operational issues related to SAP BCM or TRM modules.
• Understand interfaces in and out of these modules, standard banking processes and configure, test and deploy solutions working with cross-functional and IT teams.
• Work closely with Banking, Treasury, and other Finance team members to understand their requirements, to some up with options to address them using standard SAP, with minimal customizations.
• Follow standard ticketing, change management methodologies during issue resolution, enhancement and project life cycles.
• Set and manage expectations with business and team members and communicate proactively when there is a risk of meeting the deadlines.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Qualification – Bachelor’s Degree with good knowledge of accounting and experience with SAP BCM/TRM modules.
The role requires an eager to collaborate, learn and grow individual, with a good attitude and work ethic and the following skills:
• 4-5 years of experience as SAP functional analyst using SAP BCM or TRM modules to support and maintain Banking /Treasury needs from an IT perspective.
• Experience configuring SAP to process payments out of and receipts into SAP using standard acceptable Bank formats.
• Good understanding of the SAP FICO modules with understanding of AP, AR and GL processes.
• Ability and experience to closely coordinate with the internal Treasury, finance, accounting teams and liaising with Bank’s technical resources to come up with requirements, translate to functional design to help with technical specifications.
