Product Owner

Leading US-based consulting, data science and technology services firm

Technical responsibilities:
• Product Roadmap Develop a product roadmap that represents key deliverables, dependencies &
benefits.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog.
• Ensure product controls are aligned and assessed against the firm s Threat Scenarios and Risk
Framework.
• Engage with executive stakeholders to identify needs and map it to network product roadmap.
• Provides technical and program oversight within the Network Security product portfolio
• Manage dependencies within and outside of the Network Security product.
• Provides senior level presentations and ongoing reporting on this key program

Qualifications
• BS/BTech degree or equivalent experience
• 15+ years of progressive experience in a plan, build and/or operation role within network security
product company
• Proven experience providing roadmaps, product overviews, reports, backlog and documentation for
enterprise technology solutions.
• Ability to translate business requirements to technology architecture plans
• Networking technology domain expertise which includes:
o Network security
o Networking concepts, ports, protocols, firewalls, load balancers, IPS
o Network engineering, design, architecture and/or operations
o Network traffic analysis
• Knowledge of the latest networking and security trends
• Experience delivering within cloud-based environments & applications
• Experience in continuous delivery using Agile delivery concepts and toolkits
• Strong influence and negotiating skills, and the ability to overcome barriers and resistance to execute
against strategic plans
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of a large enterprise organization.
• Experience in management consulting or internal consulting
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies in a rapidly changing environment
• Experience working both independently and in a virtual, collaborative environment is essential.
• Expertise in Agile and can work with at least one of the common frameworks
• Ability to identify network attacks and systemic security issues as they relate to threats and
vulnerabilities, with focus on recommendations for enhancements or remediation
