Engage in strategic pricing decisions and assist in project GP analysis and contracts development for major
orders.
2. Manages working capital, cash flow, FX risks and related treasury activities.
3. Prepares an annual budget/quarterly forecast/monthly outlook for order/shipment/backlog, incorporating an
operational budget, cash forecast, order and revenue forecast and capital expenditure budget. Prepare
financial projections and business planning analysis and reports.
4. Critically reviews the monthly financial statements and prepares management information to help the
management team improve profitability and reduce costs.
5. Develop and implement policies and practices to ensure compliance to local regulations whilst minimizing
cost to the company.
6. Develop and implement policies and procedures that significantly improve internal control and safeguard
company assets.
7. Supervises and maintains an efficient financial accounting function, including continuous review of sub
ledger reconciliation, inventory stock take and fixed assets register.
8. Provides leadership to accounting support staff to enable the preparation of accurate financial and
management accounting information, ensuring compliance with local and US corporate reporting and
statutory requirements and adhering to tight time schedules.
9. Support internal and external/statutory audit process and without significant audit findings/issues.
10. Review credit control process and sizeable credit control cases and continually drives down accounts
receivable.
11. Assist in the integration of dealership finance with the efforts of Regional Contract Development function.
Manages and ensures the efficient performance of manufacturing and dealer systems.
12. Establish import and export policies and procedures for auxiliary functions such as logistics positioning the
factory to meet import/export demand.
13. Administration of the sales rebate and sales commission process.
14. Advise on legal and taxation compliance issues relating to the organization.
15. Advise on system integration issues relating to finance and/or internal control.
16. Occasionally work on ad hoc local and/or regional finance projects when required.
A professional accountancy qualification is required.
• Minimum of 15 – 20 years financial experience in a trading and manufacturing environment with a
multinational company, and audit experience in Big 5. Minimum 5 years in management.
• Excellent interpersonal, management and communication skills.
• Highly organized with well- developed analytical skills and commercial judgment
• Highly proficiency in IT skills, especially with spreadsheet and database applications.
• Oral and written fluency in English required.
• Experience in system development and / or implementation is distinct advantage.
