Job Role- Head Quality (Solar,Wind,Hybrid)
Location-Gurgaon

Position Responsbility:

Develop Standards
• Work with project, construction, and service managers to develop safety standards and quality review programs
• Work with the Engineering team to review safety and quality standards in Solar products. Serve as a proactive member for the elimination of risk in design and production where possible
• Lead the Company Quality and Safety committee to develop company-wide safety standards that represent industry best practices and comply with applicable regulations
Lead Implementation
• Initiate and lead programs to create a suitable work class safety and quality culture. Communicate and engage people at all levels and roles in Safety and Quality • Develop and conduct training on a variety of topics related to safety and quality programs, initiatives and awareness • Lead activities related to achieving and maintaining ISO or other certificates
Maintain and Improve
• Conduct and oversee the investigation of work-related incidents, ensure complete reporting and recommendations for remedial action
• Perform Site inspections in conjunction with Project and O&M managers. Identify non-compliance issues and proactively works with team to recommend/implement corrective actions on potential health, environment and safety hazards • Prepares and maintains budgets related to safety and quality initiatives Maintain a system of record for safety and quality initiatives
Other responsibilities
• lead quality assessments and performance monitoring for Solar and Wind Business
• Help develop standard quality processes in collaboration with project execution teams
• Assist team(s) in identifying longer term issues during the plant operation and collate all the learning to apply in continuous improvement processes • Create, update construction / material quality manual
Raw Material inward / outward inspection
• Inspection of Mechanical Structures, Fabrication items / HDG components, Hardware items inspection of Solar Modules, Inverters, AC / DC Pumps, Drives (VFD), Controllers, Lights, Charge controllers Reports (dimensional, equipment / components test) generation • QC inspections from client end Quality (supplier, in-house) process audit Responsible to develop QC standards in order to achieve production quality Responsible in aggregating feedback from the field complaints and documenting the same
• Participate in training relevant stakeholders (execution and services team), external contractors and channel partners in quality processes

Position Experience and Qualification:  
 Position Experience and Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with good experience in QC/ ESH with 15 years’ relevant experience
• Expertise in managing relevant standards in Quality and ESH functions and proven track record
• Ability to add value, reduce costs and make business improvements
• Proven Project management and Quality/ESH experience
• Experience of operating and influencing at a strategic level
• Knowledge and technical understanding of Solar or related processes, components and techniques
• Considerable and diverse demonstrable experience of leading a Quality/ESH function with proven track records in strategic Quality/ ESH leadership delivering effective strategies, policies, processes and systems
• Successful track records in getting ISO, Six Sigma, OSHA and other relevant certification standards will be desirable
• Outstanding skills in data collection, analysis, and presentation is key to be successful
