Quality manager:
• In depth understanding of various standards related to Smart Meters
• Electrical commodity knowledge
• Problem Solving Methodology QRQC
• Fluent in English
• Proficient in MS Office
• A keen eye for detail and a results driven approach
Validation Product and Process associated:
• Understanding customer needs and requirements, validate quality specifications to develop effective quality control processes
• Review/ prepare and implement Quality Assurance Plan (including Manufacturing Quality Plan, Field quality plan)
• Review/ analyze requirements for raw material, interfaces, etc and monitor compliance to relevant standards/ technical specifications
• Coordinate/ supervise stage, pre dispatch inspections
• Keep accurate documentation, perform data acquisition and statistical analysis
• Conduct/ Review Root Cause analysis of products failing/ not meeting technical requirements/ key operational issues to define and implement effective improvement measures
• Conduct/ review Failure mode Effect Analysis
• Work with cross-functional teams to drive standardization and simplification in processes resulting in improvements in quality during supply chain and field operations
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and track the effectiveness of projects.
• Develop rigorous control plans; working closely with process owners, project champions
• Conduct/ coordinate periodical process audits in-house, at supplier’s workshops and project sites.

• Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ IT Engineering
• 2-5 years in Smart meters/ AMI projects in Quality Assurance/ Inspection/ Manufacturing / Field Operations
• Overall experience of 5 - 8 years
• Any certifications in Quality Management/ Masters in Quality Management shall be an advantage
